The ace Chicago Illinois rapper gained attention by uploading music on YouTube. At first, he released songs like the Come Up and NEVER CARED. Later, with his mixed tape "OFFICIAL POLO.G SUNDCLOUD" He made the SoundCloud debut. Gang With Me marked his debut hit single, which was immediately followed by a second hit track,"Finer Things. The song was composed by the singer while in prison. It proved to be the single that made him famous and gained many millions of views YouTube and brought him into limelight. After a while, record labels started showing interest in him. Pop Out, featuring Lil Tjay is finally out following the rapper's signing of an Columbia Records distribution agreement. The single received millions views on YouTube and was ranked at 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 marking the first song to chart for the rapper. As time passed, Polo G became a YouTube celebrity and also gained notoriety through other social-media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter.
